Notes
Security Constraints
- If identity verification fails, the original risky operation is forcibly terminated and must not be bypassed or retried.
- Do not initiate Palm Registration automatically unless the user explicitly requests it.
- Do not fabricate, skip, or hard-code credentials.
Usage Limitations
- This skill runs only in a local environment. Restricted environments such as sandboxes, containers, and remote terminals are not supported.
- Each Palm Scan must be completed in a browser pop-up window. The user must manually follow the camera prompts to complete the operation.
- If Google Chrome is not installed, the skill cannot start. Install it or specify
CHROME_BIN.
Troubleshooting
| Issue | Resolution |
|---|---|
| Missing credentials | Tell the AI, "Help me reconfigure the palm-kyc-community credentials." |
| Invalid / expired credentials | Apply for a new token, then tell the AI, "The palm-kyc-community token has expired. Help me update it." |
| Chrome not found | Install Google Chrome, or set the CHROME_BIN environment variable to the executable path |
| Recognition timeout | Restart the Palm Scan process |
| Repeated recognition failures | Check camera permissions and lighting conditions; perform Palm Registration again if necessary |
Quick Reference
